Calm Walks

Behaviour support for difficult walks begins by understanding what your dog is finding hard, then planning safer, manageable practice.

More space. Less pressure.

What we work on.

For barking, lunging or worried behaviour around dogs, people or busy places.

  • A first assessment and safety discussion
  • Reading body language and creating distance
  • Practical management and reward-based learning

We begin with a conversation, without deliberately provoking the behaviour. We consider suitable environments and work below the level your dog can manage. Sudden changes, pain concerns or bites require veterinary advice; referral may be appropriate.

Questions, before you start

About calm walks.

Ask a question →
Can you cure aggression?

No outcome is guaranteed. Behaviour has many influences, and we do not promise a cure. A first assessment helps decide whether our scope is suitable or another professional is needed.

Can we join a group straight away?

We discuss suitability first. Some dogs need private support and more distance, and a class may not be appropriate.
